In this discussion, we explore how forensic clinicians can include questions and discussion about personal identities into their interview. We discuss when and how a clinician could inquire and issues of relevancy and saliency in determining whether to include this information in reports. Additionally, we discuss what the examiner needs to know before approaching these topics in their evaluations.
